Chief Executive

Post-holders Name: Chris Harding

Profile: Chief Officer of the Authority Office. To provide strategic oversight of the PA in discharging statutory roles and responsibilities. To provide guidance to members on all related matters. Perform the role of Statutory Monitoring Officer. (No operational role or responsibility for the management of the Constabulary).

Deputy Chief Executive

Post-holders Name: Jenny Hayes

Profile: Deputy to the Chief Executive providing overall support in that respect. Also Deputy Monitoring Officer. Lead Responsibilities include Professional Standards & HR, custody visiting, corporate governance and appointments (together with the Chief Executive).

Treasurer

Post-holders Name: Bob Summers

Profile: To ensure that all the requirements of the Home Office Code of Financial Management are delivered including responsibilities of the S151 Local Government Act 1972 and S1114 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988 are met.

Assistant Chief Executive

Post-holders Name: Mark Hill

Profile: To support the Police Authority in ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective policing service for Norfolk, with particular emphasis on the strategic aspects of Effective Community Engagement & Partnership Working, Performance and Equality and Diversity.

Policy and Research Officer

Profile: To assist senior staff and Members of the Authority to work to the highest standards enabled by accurate and up-to-date data and information relevant to the strategic policing environment.

ICV Scheme Administrator/Research Officer

Post-holders Name: Sarah Bryant

Profile: To ensure that Norfolk’s ICV Scheme is fit for purpose, effective and the best in the region; and to assist senior staff and Members of the Authority to work to the highest standards enabled by accurate and up-to-date data and information relevant to the strategic policing environment.

Partnerships Officer

Post-holders Name: Vacant

Profile: To support the Authority in delivering key areas of its business relating to partnership working and community engagement.

Office Manager

Post-holders Name: Claire Buckley

Profile: To manage all administrative support to the Chief Executive’s Office, having overall responsibility for the Admin Team. Key accountabilities include members support, (specifically to the Treasurer and Vice-Chairman), day to day finance management and budget monitoring, compliance with the Freedom of Information Act and maintenance of the website.

Committee Administrator

Post-holders Name: Nicola Wotton

Profile: To provide a high quality committee administration and support service to the Police Authority.

Executive Assistant

Post-holders Name: Kerrie Hudson

Profile: To provide a pro-active and comprehensive support service to the Chairmen and Members of the Norfolk Police Authority; and is also P.A. to the Chief Executive.

Support Services Assistant (part time)

Post-holders Name: Susan Kirkham

Profile: To provide general administrative support to all staff within the Chief Executive’s Office and Members including ordering of stationery, processing of invoices and dealing with incoming/outgoing mail.
