In July this year, the Home Office published the Policing Green Paper 'From the Neighbourhood to the National: Policing our Communities Together', which sets out how the Govenment proposes to work with the police to continue to drive down crime, increase public confidence and give local people more information and more say in how their neighbourhood is policed.
The Government is keen to hear from your views regarding the Green Paper proposals. The deadline for responses is 10th October 2008, and copies of the Green Paper can be found at http://police.homeoffice.gov.uk/police-reform/policegp.
To help inform the response from Norfolk Police Authority, we would like to hear as many local opinions as possible and have therefore put together a short questionnaire which focuses on particular elements of the Green Paper. If you would like to submit your views to the Authority, please complete the questionnaire (by clicking here) and return to us by Friday 26th September 2008.
